About Us

Maria Edwards Wilkinson, Owner/Operator

Maria has over 35 years of experience in the retail industry. 

After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, she joined Neiman Marcus as a buyer in couture and designer sportswear, and as a department manager in juniors. She also did product development, designing and arranging production for sportswear under the Neiman Marcus label.

Maria was then retained by the Hunt Family, Rosewood Corporation to open Stanley Korshak at the Crescent as 

Director of women's wear. She was involved in all aspects of 

the store's construction, opening, marketing plan, and procurement of product, including negotiations with top European designers.

She then returned to her hometown of Ardmore in 1992 

and joined a local nursery where she implemented several successful programs including a plant rental service, interior plant maintenance service, a floral design department and a

gift and garden accessories business.

With a strong desire to operate her own business, Maria developed and implemented a plan for a unique gardening 

and home décor store, which utilizes her vast experience in retail and horticultural products and services.
